Oh Pam – that was wonderful. It was exactly like my family pics. Your Gram was about 13 years older than my Mom and 10 years younger than my Gram. My Gram lived until she was 92 and my Great Gram until she was 95.
I could not believe one of the pics early on in the slide show – red headed woman in a teal dress – that could have been ME. I looked exactly like that in high school – EXACTLY. Same hair style and colour.
I know it is new and so intense for you now and it it total loss you feel. But trust me that the wonderful memories are the ones that will last forever. I know that my Mom welcomed your Gram into heaven and I know they are probably playing cards up there right now – especially if it was bridge.
God Bless.

Did I tell you that you did a beautiful job on this. Gram’s so flattered that there’s a little movie about her life, for sure.
Your love shows through this, Miss P.
about me
I’m a self-employed single mom recovering from 16 years in a hellish verbally and physically abusive marriage. I’ve worn a lot of hats in my life ...from eBay PowerSeller to caterer to nonprofit development director to admin assistant to model to owning a graphic design business to serving as marketing director for an architectural firm to political campaign treasurer. This blog will chronicle my recovery, using my self-designed 2 Habits a Week program. Read along as I strive to become a successful Internet Marketer/entrepreneur, a better mother and human being, and achieve the best body of my life (not necessarily in that order). Follow me on Twitter (2habitsaweek)!
