Changing my life … one habit at a time

A Word About Shoulders …

If you’ve ever wondered how much genetics plays in your body makeup and ability to change, I wanted to share with you my experience.

I started fairly serious weight training about 15 or so years ago, using a then-new concept of combining weight training with aerobic exercise known as The Firm. Of course I started light with merely 5 pound dumbells but, gradually, over time, I was using 20 to 25 pound bells.

The first thing that I, a long-time shoulder pad wearer, noticed when I began working out with weights was “Hallelujah! I have shoulders!”
